Silver jewellery is celebrated for its timeless elegance, versatility, and affordability. Unlike its more expensive counterparts, silver offers a bright, lustrous finish that complements a wide range of styles, from minimalist to bohemian.

The most common form of silver used in jewellery is 925 sterling silver. This is an alloy of 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% other metals, usually copper. Pure silver is too soft for everyday wear, so the addition of copper makes sterling silver much stronger and more durable, while retaining the beautiful colour and shine of pure silver. The "925" hallmark is a recognised stamp that guarantees the jewellery is made from genuine sterling silver.

Gold-plated jewellery offers the luxurious look and feel of solid gold at a more accessible price point. It is crafted by applying a thin layer of gold onto a base metal, such as copper, brass, or silver, through a process called electroplating. This allows for a wide range of designs and styles that would be significantly more expensive in solid gold.
